Doha—Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati arrived in Qatar this morning for an official visit, setting the stage for meetings with key Qatari officials.

According to a new release by National News Agency - Lebanon, Mikati is scheduled to meet with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani.

Upon his arrival, Mikati was received at the airport by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, and the Chargé d'Affairs of the Lebanese Embassy in Qatar, Ms. Farah Berri.
