Al Baha Strategic Office Showcases Tourism Potential at Arabian Travel Market

Dubai: The Strategic Office for Developing Al Baha Region is actively participating in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 event, currently being held in Dubai and running until May 1. The office is utilizing this platform to solidify Al Baha's status as both a local and international tourist destination, featuring a dedicated pavilion at the event.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the pavilion is designed to highlight Al Baha's rich tourism assets and the promising investment opportunities available in the region. The focus is on the area's natural beauty, cultural heritage, and initiatives for sustainable development. This participation underscores the region's commitment to expanding its reach in the global tourism market.

During the ATM 2025 event, the office successfully signed five international cooperation agreements aimed at strengthening the tourism sector. These efforts are supported by Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Al Baha Region and chair of the office's supervisory committee. The agreements are a testament to the region's proactive approach to enhancing its tourism infrastructure.

The pavilion attracted visits from various officials and facilitated the signing of memoranda of understanding (MoUs). These MoUs are focused on developing mountain-biking destinations, creating integrated tourism resorts, and promoting successful tourism experiences in Al Baha. Discussions at the pavilion also included the latest developments in the global tourism sector, paving the way for new partnerships as the summer season approaches.
