Riyadh: The 26th Saudi relief plane operated by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) departed from King Khalid International Airport bound for Lebanon, carrying essential food, shelter, and medical supplies. According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to aid the Lebanese people during times of crisis. The relief efforts are aimed at providing much-needed support to those affected in Lebanon, continuing a legacy of assistance that Saudi Arabia has maintained over the years.

Al-Jawhara and Aseel Secure First Place Arab-wide, Ninth Globally in World Robot Olympiad 2024.

Riyadh: The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) International Final 2024, held in Trkiye from November 26 to 30 with the participation of over 90 countries, concluded with Al-Jawhara bint Saud Al-Qahtani and Aseel bint Abdulaziz Al-Jasser securing first place among Arab nations and ninth globally in their debut under the "Future Engineers" category. According to Saudi Press Agency, this global competition aimed at showcasing youth creativity through robotics and artificial intelligence technologies is organized in partnership with the Ministry of Education, the Saudi Federation for Robotics and RC Sports, Tuwaiq Academy, and Tatweer for Educational Technologies (TETCO). In a statement, Al-Jawhara and Aseel emphasized that this joint achievement was the result of several months of work during an intensive camp at Tuwaiq Academy. They explained that the robot was built using advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies, along with 3D printing techniques for its design and production. It als o incorporated advanced sensors linked to camera and radar technologies. The project was implemented in accordance with WRO regulations. Saudi Arabia participated in the WRO International Final 2024 with 15 teams comprising 30 students from various regions of the Kingdom, supported by 11 advisors and 15 technical trainers. The competition featured several categories, including Robo Missions, Robo Sports, Innovators of the Future, and Future Engineers. The WRO is an annual global technology competition open to participants of all age groups from around the world. The intensive training camp for participants was held at Tuwaiq Academy, the training arm of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, aiming to enhance students' creativity, design capabilities, and problem-solving skills through robotics competitions and activities aligned with educational plans.

OIC Engages in Two-State Solution Dialogue in Brussels.

Brussels: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), represented by Assistant Secretary General for Palestine and Jerusalem Affairs Ambassador Samir Bakr, participated in the second senior officials' meeting of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution in Brussels. According to Saudi Press Agency, Ambassador Bakr reiterated the OIC's commitment to ending the Israeli occupation and illegal settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territories. He emphasized the organization's dedication to achieving a just and lasting two-state solution, grounded in international law, relevant UN resolutions, and the Arab Peace Initiative. Furthermore, Bakr underscored the alliance's role in fostering international cooperation aimed at halting the aggression on Gaza and providing humanitarian assistance to its people.

During the meeting, they engaged in friendly discussions and reviewed the strong relations between the two countries. According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused on continued cooperation and mutual interests between Saudi Arabia and Qatar. KSrelief Distributes 520 Vouchers to Refugees and Host Communities in Lebanon.

Naema: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed vouchers on Thursday, enabling beneficiaries to purchase winter clothing according to their needs from approved stores. The distribution benefited 520 individuals from Syrian and Palestinian refugee families, as well as host communities in Lebanon's Naema and Sidon, as part of the center's Kanaf-3 project for 2024. According to Saudi Press Agency, this assistance is part of the humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to support refugees and the most vulnerable groups in Lebanon.
