A Journey into Bedouin Culture

Tabuk, The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) has unveiled Tayma Camp, a unique cultural experience designed to immerse visitors in the traditional Bedouin way of life, located between Khaybar and Tayma City.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the camp offers an authentic Bedouin lifestyle experience, allowing visitors to engage with the customs, traditions, and heritage of the Bedouin people. Set in a tranquil desert environment, the camp provides a variety of cultural activities, including camel riding, falconry, and an exploration of traditional handicrafts and regional cuisine. The aim is to offer a comprehensive experience that captures the essence of Bedouin heritage. Alongside recreational activities, the camp also focuses on the area's rich history, featuring a theatrical portrayal of King Nabonidus' journey and historical sites such as the Ancient Temple of Salm and Qasr Alradahm. Souq AlNajem, a historic marketplace in Tayma, is also part of the tour, showcasing the region's economic and commercial heritage.
